4 Fun Tips to ensure you have an Amazing 2010

Recently during one of my “Time to shine” workshops I was talking about one of my most favourite things to do at the end of a year, so I thought lets share with Springday members so they too can have an amazing, inspiring and successful 2010.

Bev's 2010 Tip 1: Things to be Grateful for in 2009

Simply list 20 things that you are grateful for in 2009. This encourages an attitude of gratitude and helps lift your mind frame to one of a successful and appreciative person. Being grateful for the things in 2009 is a beautiful way to say ‘goodbye and thank you 2009!’ Some of the things on my list would be; My family, passing an exam, having special friends, walking my dog etc. On your list you may have; being grateful that you can now run for 20mins without stopping, fitting back into your favourite jeans and feeling fabulous.

Bev's 2010 Tip 2: Things we Dream to do

List 20 things that you would love to have done at the end of the year. For example;

  • New skills to learn
  • Exciting or adventurous
  • Things around relationships
  • Things you have always wanted to do

By learning new skills you experience the feelings of being a beginner and from there learn how you overcome the challenges and become proficient, even good at this new skill. Along this journey people learn their strengths and can apply them to other areas of life. Another advantage is that by doing interesting things makes you a more interesting person. When you have had lots of fun activities and experiences it makes conversation easier with strangers and therefore brings you more and more confidence. Being in groups of likeminded people is another added bonus.

Time is too short to put off doing things that you have always wanted to do, so make 2010 the year to achieve them.

Bev's 2010 Tip 3: Set some Goals

Bev's 2010 Tip 4: Plan and Action.

Make a plan, break it down into little achievable steps with time frames. Then take action everyday towards what you really want for 2010.
Above all have fun and enjoy.
